Simplex 2901-9833 pigtails vs terminals

I was looking at my 2 Simplex 2901-9833 horns on Simplex 2903-9101 strobe plates today and noticed that one of them has the standard terminal connections, while the other 9833 horn has pigtails like a 9806 would have. The pigtail version was mounted on a back-box so I never noticed it when it was mounted on the back-box.

I like that bilingual t-bar I the background and I like terminals rather than pigtail wires on a device

I have the pigtail version, and it’s such a pain to wire.

You don’t have to use wire nuts, they make in-out terminal blocks. Just get one of those, connect one side to the device, and the other side to power. To save time, only disconnect the side connected to power.
