Hi, everyone. Been a minute since I’ve popped on here. I almost have my Simplex 4005 configured and running, but I’m hitting a snag.
I installed a 565-554 8-point I/O card in my 4005 for the purpose of running individual alarm and trouble LEDs on my annunciator panels. I have the card configured in the panel programming. I am using circuits 1 and 2 on the card for fire and circuit 3 for trouble (and I’d like to eventually configure circuit 4 as an input for the reset key switch on the one panel to initiate a system reset, if that is even possible).
How do I wire my panels to the dumb thing? Each circuit only has one terminal, no + and -. When I attach my multimeter probes between the card terminals and the 0V on the power distribution board, I have no 24V output. Where is my power supposed to come from to flash the alarm lights and turn on the trouble light? What am I missing here?
