Hello, I’m thinking of purchasing a Simplex 4017.62 AC vibrating bell from eBay, but this one has a mechanism marked 120 V. A. D, and it has a screw terminal board on the mounting plate that incoming power and “bell motor” leads go to.
What system would use that type of connection setup?

Hello, i should be getting the 4017.62 bell by the 10th of March, and i will take pictures to post at that time.
I noticed the mechanism plate is different than the mechanism plate in the 4017 bells with the short AC cord… The area where the cord grommet isn’t placed slightly down on a "tab on the mechanism frame, its level with the rest of rhe mechanism frame.
Hello, I’ve got the Simplex 4017-62 bell now i bought off of eBay. As it turns out, it also carries the Auth part number 1742-6-4 imprinted below the 4" gong mount.
Because it blends in, I can’t get a good picture at the time.
