Oh wow…I do believe you’re currently the only enthusiast known to have the flush-mount version of the 4048R! (especially since the 4048R by itself is already extremely rare) That Exide-Couch light is slightly more common (I believe there are a handful of other enthusiasts that own one), but it’s otherwise still quite rare. Nice!
the 4048R with a flush plate is definitely something new. but i also have never seen any other remote lamps with thick letters on only the sides (in white)
Actually, @Fallen_Galon owns one of these as well. It is also the same type of flush plate used on the Wheelock 3X series in the 70s. See the most recent post on my article, here.
The flush plates are separate from the alarm itself.
