We have a simplex 4100 series we have a error message IDNet channel failure if we reset the system it will work for a while and again error message will return… please guide as what to do… thanks
An IDNet channel failure indicates the failure of your SLC loop - therefore your addressable initiating devices will not function.
If you are a building owner - contact your fire alarm contractor and schedule a replacement project.
If you are a fire alarm technician - you will need to replace the IDNet board.

@anon29828191 Is correct. You need to get this issue solved immediately as this means that a good portion of the initiation devices (pull stations, smoke detectors, etc.), or maybe all of them (depending on the building’s size), will not work.
