Hallo sir,
4100 panel have a trouble IDnet class A abnormal what is the issue how to clear trouble
press “more info” and share what it says or send an image please. Can’t help without knowing the issue.
Ok tomorrow I will press more IFO and share the picture also. Bcz I left from site but i saw the display of panel there is showing IDNet Class A abnormal
A class A trouble indicates that there may be a break in one of the circuits. This link should provide some context on Class A wiring in a very basic sense: https://nationaltrainingcenter.com/nfpa-72-circuits-and-pathways/
If the system is in fact wired in class A, with just one break in the line or one missing device, then everything else on the circuit should still be operating. For basic troubleshooting:
- Are there any other troubles on the system? If so, are any of them a missing device (or devices) on the IDnet loop? If so, start there.
- If there is ONLY the IDNet Class A trouble on the system, then check to confirm the IDNet loop is wired to the panel in Class A.
a. If not wired for class A, this may be a programming issue and may require a programming technician to come out and fix it. If this is an existing system, not brand new, this is a less likely problem.
b. If it is wired for class A, then there may be a cut in the line somewhere. The annoying part will be finding the cut. The way to get started would be to disconnect one end of the Class A circuit, leaving it wired as if it were class b, and see what drops. You’ll have to trace the line to figure out where it goes, but the cut would be somewhere between the last device online, and the first device offline in the circuit. If no devices drop, then the cut must be between the panel and the last device in the circuit. Once you find the cut, fix it, and the trouble should go away.
Depending on the card, there might be jumpers on it for Class A or B mode. You can alter them with the card live, ideally both jumpers by side at once.
I truly appreciate the advice you gave me.
