SK SK-Photo-W and Farenhyt IDP-Photo

I have a Farenhyt IFP-2000 FACP using IDP-Photo detectors with B200SR sounder bases. I am told the IDP-Photo is a discontinued item and that the Farenhyt IDP-Photo-W is the replacement for the old detector. I already have some SilentKnight SK-Photo detectors which appear identical to the Farenhyt IDP-Photo detectors and they fit in the existing sounder bases. Is Honeywell making these two different brand detectors non compatible or are they interchangeable across the two brands?

SK and IDP are two different protocols. So you’ll get and ID code error. You’ll have to keep it all IDP.
