Someone talks about what happens when the fire alarm goes off at Walmart.

Here some guy is talking about what happens when the fire alarm goes off at Walmart.

It doesn’t surprise me. People usually assume that when the fire alarm goes off it’s either a drill or a false alarm.
Of course, if it actually was a fire and someone got hurt, I’d bet money that they’d try to sue Wal-Mart.

It’s the American way!

The 2 times our Walmart fire alarm went off when I’ve been there (the first time was in November of 2013 or so and was a test, the 2nd was last year when some contractor was using some power tool in the retail side entry, kicked up some dust and triggered the Bosch smoke in there) alot of the customers did head for the exits.

i’ve probably said this here before but when we were dealing with a mall the manager was against having the general notification ever go off. his reasoning was along the lines of “if we announce there’s a fire in the food court and tell everyone to evacuate immediately, everyone is going to go to the food court to see.”
