Hello, I’ve got a Standard Electric Time SAU3_12 6 inch bell I ordered off eBay before Labor Day.
It is in much better shape than my very first Standard Electric 6" bell, and rings much clearer.
I’ve attached a few pictures, and will add more later.
These are the extra pictures of my SAU3_12 bell.
is this a single stroke one? What would the 10 inch model be?
The SAU3_12 is a120 volt vibrating bell with six inch gong, grey enamel.
As I don’t have model code info on the Standard Time bells with older model numbers, I couldn’t say for sure.
According to Glenn James, single stroke Standard Electric Time bells have no plunger stroke adjuster (located under the gong mount arm).
Vibrating bells have the plunger stroke adjuster located under the gong mount arm; it will look like a slotted screw with a nut on it.
I have a picture of that, and will post it as soon as I locate it.

This is the plunger stroke adjuster for Standard Electric Time vibrating action bells.
Here is a picture showing the plunger stroke adjuster under the gong arm.
The plunger is at the top of the bell in this picture, and the plunger stroke adjuster/gong arm under the gong at the bottom of the bell.
Single stroke bells don’t have this, but did have a stop (plug?) so the plunger wouldn’t drop out of the plunger tube.
Surprisingly the plunger tube isn’t metal, it’s a fiber reinforced material I can’t identify.

Here are two more pictures of the SAU3_12 bell base, showing left and right sides, and the plunger stroke adjuster.
Note: The 2 “tabs” at the gong mount’s top are for a 10" gong and adapter.
