Figured out you can take the detector cover from the Simplex 2098-9202 and place it on the 4098-9701. No, the heat sensor wouldn’t work.
Let me know if this was a thing Simplex did, or did I just invent a new theoretical device they could’ve had.
Not sure if they ever had an actual model like that, but it is neat for sure! Not sure I ever realized that those two models actually use the same detection chamber cap either.
