System sensor I3 from a pawn shop

Today as of posting this i was going with my dad to eat lunch at burger king, and before we went home we went to 2 pawn shops, and one pawn shop had a random system sensor I3 on a shelf with the manual, smoke detector, box. Im going to guess that someone thought it was a home smoke detector and bought it then found out it was a commercial detector and went to a pawn shop to sell it

Well how about that: you certainly got lucky since it’s not often one finds commercial devices at a store like that (I’ve been lucky myself only a few times). Did you buy it?

Yeah, i have it on my collection shelf right now, and one time i also managed to find a broken wheelock RSS and a honeywell speaker at a yard sale, that was EXTREME luck i had that day

Nice! In a similar fashion I once found a Wheelock ET1010-WS-24 at a now-demolished thrift store: never expected to find a semi-rare commercial device like that at such a place (no idea how it ended up there either but I’m glad that I’m the one who found it instead of say a scrap metal dealer). It works great too!

I remember hearing a long time ago that an enthusiast found a NIB ANN-80 for $20 at a goodwill.

I found a esl detector with a pizo and heat Sensor

At a re-store, a fg200, a pro-tech co alarm and a fire-x Manuel at the same place

At the re-store that’s Whare I found the esl

Really? Well how about that…I seem to remember finding an ESL…320, I think it was, at a thrift store once (I no longer have it though sadly).

You found all that there? Wow… (reminds me of a ReStore I used to go to that always seemed to have something every time I went there: that’s where I got several Gentex smoke detectors from!)

I also got a nest protect from a thrift store
