System Sensor just introduced their new L-Series line of notification devices. What I found interesting is that you can switch between the SpectrAlert Advance sound and a standard 3100 hz tone. Also they took a step away from the nice design of the Advance and modernized the SpectrAlert classic design. I do like the concept of large and small devices, but not if the new design. This month marks a decade since the first manufacture of the Advance line of devices, and now System Sensor saw time for a change. Hopefully these will pop up everywhere like the advances have.

Actually, I don’t think the electromechanical tone is the same as the SpectrAlert Advance. We’ll have to wait for someone to get the device and record a test of it to know what it sounds like.
