System Sensor MDL Coding

I have had a System Sensor MDL module for awhile now that I use to code my devices to code 3. It used to work fine on my previous battery schematic, but ever since I rewired my entire setup, got a power supply, and added a smoke detector; when I hook up the MDL, it doesn’t work and doesn’t code the devices to code 3. I really want to hook it up so I can code the NACs on my setup to code 3 when desired, but I don’t want to have to rewire everything again to just allow code 3. Also, I might want to add a toggle switch so that when the switch is turned off the MDL is not powered, so that I can code devices to continuous, and when the switch is turned on, the MDL is powered so that it would then produce code 3.

For reference, here is the schematic as to how my setup is wired.

I hope I can hook this up with rewiring everything or anything because rewiring everything is a lot of work.

Thanks for the help.

Everything you are asking for will require a lot of rewiring of existing and addition of more wiring. Do you still want to continue?

Well, I’m not sure, as I’d rather not rewire everything. But if that’s what it will take, I can probably deal with it.

You could also mess with the jumper on the MDL, if you’re alright with the alarms "skipping every 1/2 second…

It works fine; I just need it to work on my new system setup.

As near as I can figure this drawing will do what you want with the notification appliances you are using.

Here is a Dropbox link to the MDL instructions if you need it.
