Those SpectrAlert classics can get very quiet when they have tape on them, I’ve done the same thing.

I just wish System Sensor would get a mid range volume. Not too loud or quiet.

Any electromechanical horns coming up?

Not that I’m aware of. I do have a 7002T, but that’s the only electromechanical horn I own. I found that their too loud and create too much of a racket compared to say the MASS. Plus, I’d need to do major power supply upgrades before it can handle that. As it it, the power supply I use now is a bit weak.

I was born in the 90s, so the alarms will be around my age, lol.

I was born in the 90s also, but I grew up with electromechanical horns, hence my like for them.

I only know of one building in my area with electromechanical horns still, and that is the public library which has 7002T’s (or an alarm that looks the same).
