Can I see the W939 and it’s docs? That’s totally unheard of.
I’ll call them “kitchen cabinets” from here on out. Those are very cool.
Why do they look like my cabinets in my house?
Here’s the W939 still in service. It’s connected to an FS-20 panel with nine L modules and thirty-six zones. It reports to a dual Delta 1000 monitored 24/7. The W939 manages the SC 807A horn strobes.
Woah! That thing is gigantic! And it’s still in use?
Yeah. It’s actually takes up space in three cabinets. They are each two bays larger than the one you have.
makes crashing noise
I wonder if it’s possible to upload those documents on the Internet Archive
Yes, all you have to do is create your own archive.org account, and you can upload whatever you want!
I plan to do it eventually with a bunch of historic railroad industry publications. but I’ll have to see if any of the copyrights are still in effect.
Okay, all you gotta do is have an email and you can sign up
I already have an archive.org account
I made a Review Video of the W940 in case anyone is interested. This is also the first ever review of the Honeywell W940.
Also something interesting to note is the Honeywell Key used on the Panel is the same as the one used on my Honeywell BG-12’s.
I have a full set of Honeywell manuals for the W940 panel.
Unfortunately I do not have any information on the Honeywell W940.
Okay, thanks. Just so you know this panel would definitely be of your interest. And I found a 2001-8001 I’m trying to save out of WSCC in Morristown, TN. It is 6 bay, has 2903-9X+2901-9833 combo and 4251-2X pulls.
I foresee the system being removed so I am kinda pushing it along a tad bit and when I get my own apartment I will have storage for it.
@pilot, what’s the Intermatic timer for?
The timer bypasses the horn/strobes while testing. It troubles the panel and self-restores after a period of time.
Ooh! That sounds really cool! Do you happen to have any Pictures of it?
