Can I use thermostat wire for an addressable loop? Here’s a pic

Is this for a real system or a demo system? Also, what manufacturer is this? Manufacturers have explicit requirements (e.g. Fire-Lite SLC Wiring Manual) for the types of wires used, but you could probably get away with other wires if it isn’t a real system.
It is a simplex 4010. It is a small hobby system in my basement. I wouldn’t use it for the nacs though.
This is totally fine for a hobby system. 18/2 is totally fine for your use case.
Ok! I have used this type of wire with conventional systems but didn’t know if it would work since addressable panels communicate in a different way.
