Vintage speaker strobes still in service

Decided to start this forum up since I am intetested to see them. I’m curious if people have photos of 2902s or Pre-ADA speakers still in service.

I’m not sure if these are what you want. Especially if you’re referring to simplex na’s specifically. However to my knowledge they are still in use and are non ada strobe plates. I do have pictures of more non ada speakers strobes.

I am interested in seeing the Non adas too

The Children’s Hospital of Akron still has a bunch similar to the ones in the photos, but the speakers are the “LifeAlarm” design

What I don’t understand is why they’re mounted “Walmart-style.”

Wait I think FireAlarmDude5967 posted photos like that…….

He went to the same museum in D.C., I think I went a year before him.

The Speaker on this unit is sideways for some reason.

Additionally the Simplex pull station in this picture has an id sticker, but what for?

That pull station is addressable, since there’s an LED on the left below the handle. That label is probably the address.

nice mounting job, jill.
