I found these weird fire alarm strobes, that are unmarked. These are located at a shopping center in Los Angeles, CA. I also found one in another building a few miles away from this one, but I forgot the address.
Probably weathering and not an orange lens. Plastic does yellow with UV and sometimes it turns orange
Is the strobe like sticking out of the bell itself, or is it a separate device altogether? (Larger/closer-up photos would definitely help!)
Bell-strobes like that exist (Amseco and W.L. Jenkins come to mind), so it’s probably one of those
Yeah, my initial thought was that it was a W.L. Jenkins Flashering but I’d have to see closer shots to be sure. (BTW: you can still buy the Flashering to this day! but it’s rather more expensive than a more conventional bell/strobeplate combo, and also uses a bayonet base bulb vs. an integrated xenon or LED strobe assembly, so it’s not a true bell-strobe, just a bell-beacon)
