Sad sad. My SpectrAlert Advance just died, which I should’ve seen coming since the strobe went haywire and the horn blew. The plastic by the corner melted and now I’m sad. Would any of you believe that System Sensor would be able to replace this? Even if it is from eBay 5 years ago? I’m debating whether I should take a shot at it or not. I mean…I lovvveeee my advances…
I went ahead and contacted them anyways…it never hurts to try! But I’m a doubtfulll…well see
Doubt it because it’s not directly from the manufacturer. I don’t think the warranty’s valid if a non certified distributor or the manufacturer directly sells you the device. That’s more for professional installs to (the warranty) and I don’t think they’re going to pay much attention if your not interested in paying them for it. At least that’s what I’m aware of; I could be wrong.
