That’s an Edwards 725 or 730, some of which are known as “Dixie Buzzers” or “Buzabel” (the latter of which have a buzzer & a bell in the same device as the name implies).
They appear to be Edwards “Dixie Buzzers”. They are still made today. What are they used for? Have you heard them sound?
They’re used to signal when church ends and I have heard them sound off a few times. Are they rare? There are smaller ones on the second floor that are on the ceiling.

I for one haven’t really seen any so maybe.
What? As far as I know they only come in one size.
I’ll try to get pics of the smaller ones another time. Perhaps it’s another Edwards model.
