Exit signs come in White and Black housing, and also you can choose from Red or Green lettering. So what is the best combo?

  1. White - Red
  2. White - Green
  3. Black - Red
  4. Black - Green

Well, black may help the sign stand out in most conditions & cases, especially with arguably few buildings having black walls, & green is supposedly the most visible in smoky conditions, so maybe 4.

I personally like any sign with green lettering, but my absolute favorite looking exit signs are the edge lit ones with green lights.

I’m a fan of green and black, or green and white

I really wish I could get photoluminescent signs that glowed red on a black background. (instead of being red non-glowing lettering on a photoluminescent background, or white glowing lettering on a red background)
