The keypad in question is a Honeywell/Ademco 6150, which is used on the Vista systems.
The blank button can be programmed to function in many different ways, just like all buttons on it.
The first three buttons are programmed as (in order) “Fire,” “Police,” and “Medical.”
So if I pressed it, it wouldnt do anything.
Probably not. Each button is programmable just like that of a Simplex annunciatior.
I looked at the manual, and do i need the master code?
Triggering alarms usually don’t require a code as far as I know.
to program the button
Oh I think it would typically require a code to program the button.
what would be the code, the arm and disarm or master code?
I’m not sure about what the code is.
Im asking on which code do I use.
I don’t know about that one, sorry.
