My school has a ton of these, but I have no idea what they are.
Does anyone know?
I really have no idea. It looks like it could be an intercom call button. Is there any pattern to where they seem to be located? Do they all look like this? Have you ever seen one pressed?

I’ve never seen them pressed, but I have noticed they are in classrooms and offices in the older parts of the building. I used to think they were for emergency’s but I have no idea. My school does have those rescue assistance buttons, but those look much different.
I’m guessing these are from an old intercom call system.
