Well when you buy that truealert, make sure it isn’t addressable
On a Xenon Genesis, if you touch the capacitor while the alarm has power being applied to it (basically when it’s sounding), it’ll shock ya pretty bad, or so I’ve heard.
Also, I will be giving away some alarms soon if you haven’t heard. It consists of some of my alarm saves from these buildings. You see if I hadn’t have asked for it all, they would’ve tossed them anyway. So feel free to choose.
What alarms do you have?
Well for the giveaway there will be more coming available in the nearby future, probably by the end of 2025.
Right now I have System Sensor 2551 Series addressable detectors, Faraday FirePrint detectors, Siemens ZNS, ZRS, U-MHU-MCS, and U-MCS. Some Faraday 8700-S may become available as I am still in the process of salvaging all the alarms they’re removing out of the Public Safety Building.
Soon to become available are some MT-24-WMs, some LSMs probably, and some BNG-1s. Those are in the Expo Centre.
I also believe there are Wheelock NSses becoming available too as those are in the Sevierville campus for WSCC.
