Forgive me for being a bit numb to old Simplex addressable panels despite being a Simplex enthusiast. I just bought a Simplex 2099-9781 pull for my collection, the older style with the big Simplex letters, and I’m not sure what Simplex panel would it be used on. It says 17-89 on the Mapnet board, so possibly 17th week of 1989?
Simplex panels made during or prior to 1989 include the 4001, the 4002, the 2120, & the 4100 Classic.
It was used on the 2120 ( it used mapnet1 )
Or the 4100 classic. (Also used mapnet)
The 4100 classic used mapnet2
2120 had mapnet, all panels after used mapnet 2. its ever so slightly different.
The 4001 and 4002 are conventional
And the 4100 used mapnet2
Still thought I’d mention them for good measure.
