So. What do you guys on the forms going to do Fire Alarm related during Memorial day weekend? Are you going to upgrade your system, get more alarms, or on Memorial day, do a fire alarm blast (And for how long)? I, myself, try to finish my system and shot some videos for my channel. For Memorial day, im going to try to do a blast like a siren enthusiast would but would ask for what time and how long. <–(gigidy) So, what are you guys going to do?
Absolutely nothing.
Other than write this post, gonna try to forget about fire alarms since I had to rewire a sprinkler riser from hell today. It was supposed to be a go out and program what the electricians installed job, but on a setup with two tampers and one flow, they had SLC going to everything on both modules and the terminals on the flow along with 120v wires on both sets of terminals on the flow. They also managed to hook up SLC to the terminals on the base on the outdoor fire department connection horn strobe (A system Sensor P2RHK which has 24v leads that come off of a transformer that ties to 120v on the back of the base). I’m glad I held of on having them fire that part up from the get go. I knew there was a problem when I hooked up the SLC and the sprinkler connection device was the only thing going off. Plus there were plenty of other issues to troubleshoot. I should have taken a picture. So yeah I am going to forget about fire alarms for three days.

I am about to re-wire my system from 26 Gage black Stranded wire to 12 Gage red solid wire. It should work a lot better.
Try to wire up my first NAC to my first panel, a Fire-Lite MP-24 that I got on Thursday.
Looks like I’m reorganizing my collection today.
I reorganized my collection shelves, as you can see in the pic below.
I have label each shelf by brand name.
