Wheelock 7002t vs. 7004t

What’s the difference between the two? Is the 7004t just a subset of the 7002t or is it a different alarm?

The 7002T is low-voltage (7002T-12 is 12VDC, 7002T-24 is 24VDC) and the 7004T is 120VAC. Other than that, they are the same alarm.

One of the differences I learned during my research is that the 7002t makes a skipping sound when the strobe goes off because if I remember correctly, the horn and the strobe are in the same connection. However, the strobe and the horn on the 7004t have a seperate connection so the horn will not skip when the strobe flashes. And plus, it is low pitched compared to the 7002t’s normal pitch.

I apologize if im bumping but i found out that SOME of the 4004Ts will not have the FIRE lettering on the strobe and sometimes the strobe itself is a light.

Yeah, don’t do it.
