The strobe on his V7001 was replaced with one from an “806 + WS-24VDC”. I Googled the model number, and found this:
Apparently, it’s a really early version of the ET-1010, with a different backing.
I have a speaker similar to that 806 in my collection: it’s an 816T with a date stamp claiming it was made in 1984, so it’s perhaps a slightly newer model that was sold after the 806 and before the ET-1010. My 816T’s body and grille appear to be the same as those of the 806, but unlike the 806, its paint is textured. The 816T’s back also looks different than that of the ET-1010 and of the 806.
I looked it up, and it’s basically the “T” variant of the 806. Same voltage, but with terminals instead of pigtails.
