While I’m sure we’ll all miss the MT (even though it’ll still be in existing systems & of course will still be in many a collector’s collection), I’d say the multitone Eluxa is a worthy successor: it’s at least better-designed than some of Simplex’s NAs!
Kinda stinks that they used the same design as the speaker/strobe models since then you won’t be able to tell the difference between the two, but I guess it makes sense from a practical perspective.
Odd as well that they didn’t change the march time tone to have a correct pulsing rate (at least they reused the MT’s tones: probably makes sense from a practical perspective again though I’d imagine).
