Does anyone know where I can find this tone? It is a lower pitched EST genesis tone that is used in this video, and this video. I want it to recreate a voice message, however I have been unable to find it anywhere. I even have the raw EST file, and it sounds different, despite being played on the same type of speaker. If anyone knows, would they please help?
That might just be the standard EST Genesis sound being distorted by the speaker it’s playing out of.
As i said, I have used the raw EST file of the genesis, on the same speakers, and it sounds much higher.
Are you playing it with an actual fire alarm amplifier? Given their increased power they’re probaby much more likely to distort audio than other methods of feeding speakers audio: to me it genuinely sounds like the standard Genesis sound, just distorted.
That could be it, I’m not using a fire alarm amplifier, however I personally think that it sounds different, so if anyone else knows of a different tone, please send it.
It’s just a distorted genesis sound. They had the same setup at my middle school. Just less distorted.
Yeah that’s what I thought: glad to know I’m not the only one who can tell it’s just the sound of a 2nd-generation Genesis being distorted by the amp &/or the speakers in the system.
