Ernie Park Elementary School was built in 1963 as a 1-story school, complete with a gym, cafeteria/auditorium, media center, and playroom. The school gained a new art room, new music room, and a renovation in 1992. Another expansion was finished in 2008, this containing 8 new classrooms.

Panel
Simplex 4100 (replacing the original S.H. Couch system), tied into a Simplex 4010.
Simplex 4603 annunciator in main office.
Simplex remote microphone annunciator in the PE office

Initiating Devices
In the 1963 and 1992 buildings, pull stations are a mix of Simplex 2099-9795s and 4099-9001s. Smoke detectors are a mix of older and newer TrueAlarms. Heat detectors are Simplex 4098-9402s. Originally, the school had SH Couch F1-GG pulls, and a few Chemitronics heat sensors and at least three Pyrotector smoke detectors installed later on. There was also a relay from the automatic fire sprinkler system to the FACP, that relay still exists though monitored by a Simplex MAPNET monitor module.

The 2008 addition uses 4099-9001 pulls and TrueAlarm smoke detectors.

Notification Appliances
In the 1963 and 1992 buildings, there are Simplex 2901-9840 horns on Simplex 4903-9105 strobe plates. Classrooms and offices had Simplex rebranded GX-90 horns (ceiling mounted) and Simplex 4904-9105 strobes (ceiling mounted), but larger classrooms have 2901-9840+4903-9105s instead. Restrooms have Simplex 4904-9105 strobes (ceiling mounted). Some of the 2901-9840+4903-9105s were replaced with Simplex 4903-9238 and Simplex 4903-9427 horn/strobes. There are a few classrooms having Wheelock MIZ horns replacing broken GX90s. There is a Wheelock NS horn/strobe on one side of the playroom, and a Simplex 2901-9840+4903-9105 on the other side of the playroom. The gym and cafeteria/auditorium have Simplex 2902-9732 speakers on 4903-9105 strobe plates. There is a Wheelock ET70 in the kitchen replacing a broken 2902-9732+4903-9105. Outside, there are Simplex 2901-9840 horns, plus one Wheelock MT-24-WM horn/strobe. Signals in this building do continuous, and the speakers play a slow whoop tone and voice message. Originally, there were S.H. Couch rebranded Federal 350 horns.

In the 2008 building, there are Simplex Simplex 4903-9417 horn/strobes throughout, with ceiling mounted 4904-9183 strobes in restrooms. Outside there are GE/EST 757-4A-T horn/strobes. Signal coding for this building is code-3.

Clocks/Bell/Intercom
The Intercom System is a Telecor XL, replacing a Telecor II that replaced the original Rauland system. The master clock panel is a Telecor 2400, replacing a Simplex 6400 that replaced the original Edward model.

For speakers, the 1963 and 1992 buildings have wall-mounted Telecor baffle speakers in the hallways, media center, cafeteria/auditorium, and playroom. The gym has Tandy horn speakers (from the old Rauland system). Classrooms have ceiling mounted Telecor speakers with call-in switches. Offices also have ceiling mounted Telecor speakers. Outside, there are Atlas Soundolier baffle speakers. There is an administrative phone in the main office and the ESE office. The 2008 addition has ceiling mounted Telecor speakers throughout, with classrooms having call-in switches. Outside, there are Telecor baffle speakers.

For clocks, the whole school uses Telecor digital clocks. Prior to this, they had a mix of Simplex and Edwards analog clocks throughout.

Well it looks like for some reason all of my quoted systems only show up if you click on the quote button so I'm not sure what the hell is going on with that. So I won't quote the systems anymore.

Sorry. I don't take requests. But if you want to do one, you can go ahead and set it up. Though Hogwarts is in the UK so there wouldn't be any US alarms located in the school.

Anyway, I did Ebner so now I am going to do Juniata.

A primary school was built in 1989 with a simplex 4002 system with simplex 2903-9001 and 2901-9838 horn strobes set to march time. The pulls are simplex 4251-20 pulls and simplex 2098-9636 detectors (most of them being replaced with 4098-9601 detectors between 2010-2011) when a renovation occurred around that time. Some of the NA’s were replaced with wheelock MT-24mcw horn strobes and as a result, the NAC on the panel that controls the lights was set to continuous in order for the strobes to flash normally;however, the horn Mac was still set on March time, the pulls in that area were replaced with simplex 2099-9754 pulls.

Damn it! When I was looking at Auburn School District's floor plans I forgot one of the elementary schools I wanted to do a system for. Ugh. Whatever. When I get back to elementary schools I will put that one together then.

Anyway this first middle school is Housel Middle School. There are two more.
In most of the school, there are Wheelock 7002 horn/strobes

Located in the home living classroom, there is a Simplex 2901-9086 on a 4903-9101 strobe plate

One room, the music classroom, has a Wheelock 7001 horn/strobe

Over in the art classroom and the technology lab, there are Gentex SHG horn strobes though the one in the art classroom is the older one and the one in the technology lab is the new one

The main gymnasium and the three portables outside have Wheelock NS horn/strobes

Finally, the resource classroom has a Wheelock AS horn/strobe
