Alarm Vids 9.0

SimplexTech’s latest 2-part vid:

Simplex 4005 system on march time with 2901-9833 horns and a 4903-9219 at the end.

Wow, I never thought I’d hear that anywhere other than my high school. It’s such a rarely used code.

 • Genesis in code-3. No strobes seen.
 • 4100U slow whoop.
 • A bit of a treat. Simplex 4903-9401s (smartsync equivilant of the -9219) in code-3. Some mini-horns or sounder/smokes can be heard too.
 • Alarm at a restaraunt at Newark Airport. ZNSs in code-3 (very out of sync).
 • TrueAlert speaker/strobes in code-3. An announcement is made towards end. Too hard to tell if it’s live or not, but it sounds like it’s recorded.
 • Alarm at a dorm. PA400s in the rooms with SpectrAlerts in code-3 in the halls. The first floor sounds okay, the subsequent floors are badly out of sync.
 • Some kind of slow whoop. Sounds like Simplex but is a bit low-pitched to be the old slow whoop.

 • Seems to be a Wheelock SafePath EVAC system. A BG-12 can be seen behind the counter. Probably Wheelock E90 speaker/strobes.
 • An SHG doing a very slow code-3.

 • Simplex 4903 w/ voice evac message. No tones, sounder/smoke going off right above it too.
 • Ceiling-mount spectralert speaker/strobe.

These are the same link. I was really confused when I tried to watch them.

Anyone know what slow whoop tone that is? I remember hearing it in another vid posted awhile ago. It sounds pretty cool. I bet its probably a honeywell subsidiary.

 • SHGs in continuous.

Sorry about that.

Here’s the link for the Portuguese TrueAlert:

 • TrueAlerts in code-3.
 • 4100U slow whoop.
 • SpectrAlerts in code-3.
 • Sounds like ASs in code-3. A T-bar pull can be seen at :07, but what looks like a U-MMT can be seen as well at :13.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejetL7Qcc5I - SpectrAlerts in code-3.
Those are actually Wheelock NS's.

I’d disagree because of the strobe flash pattern. NSs flash when the horn stops sounding, not when they begin sounding.

It doesn’t really matter anyway.
