Fire Alarm Fails

We have a double whammy folks! Key in duct detector and wall mount MT on the ceiling.

Just to clarify, this is not a fail. It depends on the way the strobe is directed. The picture will become a fail if the strobe is not seen and doesn’t flash in a 360 degree area. It needs to cover that area. Thats why they make celling mount alarms.

Both the MT and duct detector are falling off the ceiling, plus the sideways MASS that does have fire lettering.

Here’s a Gentex SHR strobe on the ceiling
Also, I once saw a Wheelock AS completely destroyed in a Lowe’s once, I didn’t take a picture tho

They should install metal cages or other means of protective devices if this is damaged due to heavy objects hitting alarms when they’re being moved to different places of the building.

Some do have wire guards, but they’re in the hallways where they’re not necessarily needed

Here is a SpecaAlert Classic, that literary Caught on fire. You can see it’s blacked, so the horn probably burned

Oh the f**king irony!

Maybe they painted the wall green?

At least when they painted the wall white they followed the rules.
