Welcome to the Forums! Whoever planned that L-Series install needs to be FIRE-d.

That’s not really a fail.

Triple fail? Potentially rare smoke alarm went missing and the bracket looks painted and taped.

Okay, now I found a poopooing 9806 in a house on homes.com that’s stuck in a wall.

Not a fail, also unrelated question, how old are you? (Writing and spelling style does not suggest over 13)

I think that’s a Federal 350B buzzer, possibly tied into a security system

Unfortunately I can’t really share that exact info but I’m a sophomore in high school if that helps. I just like to use words involving “poopoo” because it’s funny in my opinion.

That’s interesting… does that mean it also runs on 60hz AC power since it’s a buzzer?

yep, probably more than likely AC powered

i didnt ask you… i asked the kid who was in all caps spouting nonsense

This is 4 feet off of the ground

It would work well as an ADA doorbell if it’s interconnected to a strobe! Fire detection is just a bonus.

Yeah also this is the newest smoke in this house the other being older Kidde i90’s
