The only photos I can find unfortunately show people, but one of the expo rooms at a local event/convention center (the one with the Simplex 4100 and Siemens FireFinder XLS systems) has remote strobes on walls directly behind where most of the vendors set up their background curtains. They had a show there this weekend and I saw an extremely ironic example: the local fire department’s display was completely blocking at least two Siemens ZR-MC-R remote strobes.

Also ironic to position a “know two ways out from every room” poster in a way that blocks the egress doors (at least that’s what it looks like in the image).

Yeah, I didn’t even notice that lol. This kind of thing happens at almost every event there, but I just thought it was really ironic in this situation.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAARRGHHHTTT?!?!?!?! 2 painted camouflaged alarms and a painted bracket for a likely painted alarm. How?!

I took this picture around 10 months ago. This was in my math classroom at my school. This is a sprinkler head on a flexible pipe that is just tucked up in the drop ceiling because the tile it’s supposed to be in is missing. The other one three in the room are fine. This school, much like others in the district, uses almost all concealed sprinklers, with the areas that have exposed ceilings having upright sprinklers. I don’t know if they’ve fixed it since then, but I’m thinking they have, as they did a lot of work over the summer to finish fixing all of the small issues around the school like this. I honestly forgot about it until now, when I came across this photo. I know this isn’t directly fire alarm related, but if say it’s related enough to fit into this topic.
I’ve posted this video before but I think it should have went in this topic. If course, it’s an EST3.
And of course it’s also a cheap Chinese one too

This thing isn’t very yellow but it’s kind of yellow even though it looks like it’s kind of new and not very many ultraviolet raise could hit it (I just realized I think somebody painted a little bit over it on accident lol)
