the speaker and the horn strobes are different.

The internals are different, however the housing/appearance of the devices are the same. The only way to see if the device is a horn strobe or speaker strobe is to look in the little hole that will say “HORN” or “SPKR”. Here’s what they both look like
Lee electric 500 pull station
This is at my cousins school, just your basic Silent Knight 5208 system, with advances, and sd500 pull stations.
Forgot to post the photos of it? (heh)
hey btw just so you know sd500 does not work with 5208
Yeah: it might be the similar-looking IntelliKnight SK-5808 or IntelliKnight SK-5820XL instead, which are both addressable & thus can work with the SD500-series.
808 has a ack button, xl has dif looking interface. there are conventional of what looks like the sd500
Well at a glance either can still look like the SK-5208 given their similar designs, & I believe the SD500-series only comes in addressable models.
Didnt feel like taking photos since it was common in that area
Sorry, 5208XL i meant
Ah okay (kinda defeats the point of posting to this topic though).
Ah, explains that then (do you know for sure it was an SK-5820XL? The SK-5808 may have an extra button but it can still be mistaken for the SK-5208 at a glance).
5208XL, I made sure.
2 Alarms in the same room! So the system did get replaced! Looks like it was a 4010ES Before the Siemens Modular Replacement.
I do have video proof.
For some reason Kalahari goes with every major manufacturer for every location. This location has Honeywell. The one In Sandusky OH has an EST system. The one in Round Rock has a Simplex system. As for the Poconos one I’m not sure after looking it appeared that it has a Siemens system. I am interested to find out what the new location will have.
As for the water park, the alarm message plays though the PA system.
