Lowkey how the STH-10 should have been made.
And the IRL STH-10 should be renamed the STH-12 and the STL-10 should be renamed the STL-7…if we go by horn number standpoint.

Anyways…back to the main topic.
I guess the people responsible for the interior design of the buildings on Rainbow Six Siege must really like Simplex. I watch my brothers play R6S and on every map with a fire alarm system , I always see Simplex T-Bars and TrueAlerts. The strobes on the TrueAlerts have the sun-bleached or frosted look to them.
Why: so the number of cones/horns match the model number? (even though it seems like said model number refers to the horsepower of the chopper motor instead)
Really? Huh, talk about attention to detail!
Yeah, it has the FIRE lettering on it. Though, I couldn’t tell if the T-Bars had the Simplex name on them since my brothers were always moving when I saw the alarms.
Thats my view/opinion on it, yeah.

At least two video games that have been listed in this topic (Duke Nukem 3D & CS:GO) have actually apparently gotten away with having actual manufacturer names on their fire alarm devices, so maybe!
You don’t suppose you could get photos of said game’s devices do you? (or at least from somewhere)
Just now I remembered a photo of some game that I believe has a bell next to a very realistically-modeled 2903 (& maybe also 2901-9806) of all alarms! (can’t remember which it is for sure: wanna say it’s a title in the Call Of Duty franchise but I’m not certain) The photo of them that I’m thinking of appears to be from a camera aimed at someone’s screen, with the supposed bell & 2903 combo on a green-colored “tiled” wall. There might have also been a rifle visible in the foreground. Anyone know what I’m talking about?
Hey guys!
I have been working on a game in Unreal Engine. I have modeled the fire alarms needed for the game, along with coding the system to work properly.
Cool! Nice job! It won’t be a similar game to that cancelled Source Engine mod, “The Corporation”, that NewAgeServerAlarm was once working on will it? (though your game appears to be set in a school going by those screenshots while his mod was set mainly in various industrial facilities)
I can’t help but be irked by the fact that the first NA & manual station combo are not in-line with each other. Will some of the 9838s have black plates & others silver plates going by those screenshots though? (unless that’s just from lighting differences)
Thanks! The 9838s vary between the black and silver diaphragm’s. I have it as a setting in the values that can be switched quickly ( I can also quickly change between different horns and bells for the plates). Sorry about them not being in line. I tried to go with the setup I’ve seen in public where the pull stations at the stairwells don’t always have Av’s above them. The sound throughout the building with the alarm going off is wonderful! Different hallways have different reverb settings. All of the horns have a random pitch value like in real life. I also have fire doors throughout the building that close when the alarm is activated. I’ve also been working on another game that includes a mall level with various different fire alarm systems and devices with replaceable break rods. I think that one will be just a type of free play simulation. The one pictured in this post is indeed a school environment with coded AI characters that evacuate for the fire alarm & move around for other events, fully working zoned Paging system (with voice command events), office computer, working busses, weather, holiday décor, and multiple levels and different systems. Not sure if you can see in the pull station pic but there is a break rod in it. You can pull it and the rod with break, then you can choose to either replace the rod or keep it empty.
Teardown has these red speaker strobes in the office buildings that play the firecom 8500 chime and then a old simplex voice evac message. Fire alarm panel piezo screeches in background. Alarms are silencable and dectectors have adresses that are displayed on panel
Well. Unfourtunatly, my brothers got me back in Roblox. So, while I’m not playing with them, I been playing a few fire alarm and bus games on there. Here are some screenshots i’ve taken from the fire alarm game I played.
I believe you have to touch the key hole with the actual reset key itself. It can be hard, but you can jump so that the model of the reset key touches the key lock.

Neat detail there: heck I’m surprised such a game would bother with them, given most don’t.
They seem to resemble/be based off this smoke detector camera:
