Simplex 4040s in march time.
Damn those are some tough kids! EVERYONE in my school would plug their ears during a fire drill with 4050âs.
They were 4040s, not 4050s and I can understand. Though I didnât think that fire alarms at my middle school (with 4051s) were that bad.
Not sure if this was posted, but here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrVMEmC9NRY
Simplex 2901-9838 horns with 4903-9101 strobe plates. Outside there is a U-HNH horn and although you canât hear them, two wings have U-MMT horns.
Iâve heard that 4040s are a little louder though.
Simplex 9838s in code-3. At first I thought that they were 9219s, but another video on his channel showed the alarms.
This one is interesting because a guy used it to propose to his girlfriend. Horns are 9806s by the way.

A couple years back, some guy prank called the front desk manager at a hotel, claiming he worked for simplex. he persuaded the manager that there was something wrong with the fire alarm. The manager miraculously was able to activate the hotelâs fire alarm system and make a fool out of himself. The prank caller found himself in legal hot water after this happened.
The youtube clips that I posted is the audio feed for the conversation with the prank-caller and the hotel manager. The language in these videos is explicit.
This is an example of how people will do things they wouldnât normally do when coerced to do so by someone with authority (or claims to have authority) â such as in the Milgram Experiment in the 1960s, trying to figure out why Nazi soldiers in concentration camps during WWII would murder thousands of innocent people and think nothing of it.
Those horns sound like 9838s but I canât be too sure.
What happened to the manager and the prank caller? Were they arrested and charged with anything?
Some horn going off in Code-3. It sounds really sickly.
This guy is pretty notorious for making these types of prank-calls. These guys cost businesses and hotels upwards of 10 grand by getting people to break sprinklers, break windows, activate fire alarms, trash hotel rooms, etc. According to this video, which was uploaded in 2011 after a call resulted in an incident at a KFC, law enforcement officials conducted an investigation to find the prankster. Hopefully by now this person has been brought to justice.
That was quite funny though⌠I guess itâs not fair for me to say that though because I know how these things work, but still.
Not sure if these were posted already so I will post them now:
