So, a Fire Alarm company have filed for bankruptcy.
I heard everything Kidde is going down not just Kidde-Fenwal

WAIT WHAT why HOW This is big
As I saw someone say they’ve only filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy: Chapter 7 bankruptcy is supposedly when the company can’t be saved & is liquidated, thus there’s still a chance Kidde will make it despite the circumstances (whatever the outcome is I don’t think it would affect Kidde’s fellow companies like Edwards though).
The 4000 lawsuits thing is probably the reason why Carrier was trying to sell off the brand.
Seems like the most logical thing.
I guess it’s the only way if Carrier doesn’t want to take the blame for it.
Just found this page. If that happens what will become of the life safety brands Carrier Global owns?
Also found these additional pages that say that Kidde Fenwal, Inc. is actually separate from the Kidde that’s currently owned by Carrier Global & thus only they are filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, & that Carrier Global has split its fire & security divisions up for sale since announcing their intent to leave those industries.
