Why am I the only one posting in this topic? Is this dead? Does nobody wanna make up systems anymore? It seems like nobody cares anymore. What a shame because I did like a few systems.
colorado school of arts built 1928
In 1933, state requirements made them put in a local alarm system. they put in a gamewell fire panel with masterbox style pulls, and 10 inch gongs. In 1956, they put in IBM pulls, and IBM 4030-1s where the previous system was. the panel was replaced with an IBM panel. In 1965, they added rousch hall. They put in honeywell pulls with LOCAL ALARM across them. they also put in simplex 4050s. the panel was a 4741 panel. the coding is slow marchtime. in 1971, a honeywell broke down. they put in a simplex 4363-1 coded pull in. in 1974, a fire destroyed the rousch hall. they built a huge building called denver hall. they had a 4208 panel with 4050-80s with a single lamp, and no βFIREβ lettering, and 4050s. they had 4251-30s with the 4551 heat sensors. in 1974, they also put in a 4208 in the main building with 4050-81s with 4051s, and 4251-20s, and the 4551 heat sensors. the systems are both set to slow march time. in 1975, they built 3 dorms. they had a 4207 each, with 4363-1s, and 4041 horns. they were on slow march time. in 1976, a new science building was built on to the 1928 building. they put 4051s near each exit and 4050-80 remote lights in the halls. in 1977, they built a dining hall. they put in 120 VAC 2903-9001s, with 120 VAC 2904-9001s, and 4251-20s. they had a 120VAC simplex system. in 1979, they built a HUGE new dormitory in the south side of the campus. they put in a 2120 system with 2902s on 2903-9102 strobe plates. they also had 4251-20s with the key switch inside. they had whiffleballs. the speakers were on chime and a voice message sounding after 20 beeps. in 1983, a 4050-81 broke down. they decided to replace the alarm system with a 2001 panel and 2903-9002s with 4051s. they left the pulls. in 1989, they put in a 4001 in on of the dorms. they put in 4901-9002s with 9838s. they left the pulls intact. in 1993, a 4050-80 broke. they put a 4904 vertical strobe where the light was, and left the rest. in 1998, they replaced all the panels with 4100Us and put in 4903 speakers on the strobe plates. in 2013, they put in truealert ESs in with 4099 pulls, and 4098 smokes, with a 4100ES in all the campuses.

Glad to see that this topic is coming back. I like making up systems. We need to have a lot more people try to make up systems. I wouldnβt mind it at all. So Iβm hoping to see more posts.
Main horns are Edwards Adaptahorn DC version which are mounted on 892-strobe plates. A newer addition because before they were just Adaptahorns with no strobes.
The music room which was recently renovated has a Simplex 4901-9805 on a 4903-9105 strobe plate which replaced the Adaptahorn that sounded horrible.
The auditorium has a very loud FOS 6120 that is on a Simplex 4903-9101 strobe plate.
The art room has a Simplex 2901-9833 on a 2903 strobe plate
Finally, the media center has an Amseco BZ-51 on a Space Age Electronics AV32 flasher

Iβm still waiting for more people to post more in this topic.
As the title of the topic suggests, this thread is for making up systems. Fire Alarms in Buildings 2.0 can be used for naming of interesting/unusual systems.
