Colorado state dormitory #1
Built 1979
Had a huge fire-lite system with Kidde B4 pulls and wheelock 34 horns. In 1992, a huge fire started in the main office. The fire burned 3 out of 18 floors. Since the panel was in the office, nobody knew about the fire. Fire-fighters went to the speaker office, which was 100% concrete, and said a fire has started, and they shall evacuate. They counted the number of people and 399 out of 400 evacuated. They went and announced his name and he was eating in his dorm at the 15th floor. They got him out and 30 minutes after 1/3 of the building collapsed. So in 1994, a new building was built. They had a concrete room with a steel door and thick wire that cannot be burned. The backboxes are covered with rubber too. The system is a simplex 4120 since the building is 25 floors tall. The system has simplex 4099-9003 pulls, and simplex 2901-9845s on horizontal 4903-9105 strobe plates. The rooms have 4904-9105 remote strobes and 4901 mini horns. the halls and rooms also have 4098 smokes.
Westin hotel
Built 1974/2002
Was originally five floors and had a simplex 4208 system. The pulls were simplex 4251-30s and the signals were 4051 horns on 4050-80 light plates without fire lettering. The heat sensors were 4255-1 sensors. The rooms had simplex 4051 horns. In 1988, the hotel closed. So in 1989, plans for a new hotel started. So in 1991, construction started. They built the buildings frame, and in 2001, they got finished. The system is an old 4120 from 1994 and a huge 4100U. On every floor, they have a 4606 annunciator, and 3 simplex 4009 NAC extenders. The pulls are simplex 4099-9103 IDNET pulls. The smokes are 4098 IDNET smokes. They have simplex 4098-9806 remote test stations every 10 feet too. The signals are white simplex truealert speaker strobes. They have the old White Simplex 4903 rectangular speaker strobes also from 1998. They have white 4902 truealert speakers every 50 feet. The signals are 25 feet apart from each other. The rooms have white ceiling mount 4904 strobes. The rooms also have white simplex 4902 truealert speakers and 4098 IDNET smokes. They also have white 4904 wall mount strobes in all the restrooms in the rooms and lobby and floors.
Two middle schools to get this topic back into gear:
Church Hill Middle School:
Main horns are Simplex 4041 horns on 4050-85 light plates
The library has a Simplex 4051 on an SAE AV32 light plate
The band room has a Federal Signal 450D horn with a VALS strobe
The auxilary gym has a Honeywell 34T-24 horn on a Wheelock RSSP strobe plate
Finally, both computer labs has SAE 2DCD horns on 4903-9101 strobe plates
If anybody knows what Honeywell called the rebranded 34T-24, please tell me. Itβs been driving me insane.

East Middle School:
All the horns in the school used to be Simplex 4051 horns on 4050-85 light plates, but a few broke down
The Media Center has an Edwards 792 horn/strobe
The Computer Lab has a Pyrotronics HDC-24 horn on a SAE AV34 flasher
Technicians donβt need to memorize any model numbers. Itβs so that all fire alarm parts on the Honeywell product line have a common model numbering system.
simplexgrinnell building
Built 1979 as Dillards
Had a Fire-Lite Miniscan with Fire-Lite BG-6s with Wheelock 34 remote horns below Space age AV34 strobe plates with clear lenses. In 1984, Fire-Lite smokes were put in every room. In 1985, Wheelock 34t horns were put in all the bathrooms. In 1989, Dillards closed. In 1997 simplex moved into the building, following a 1998 Demolition and expansion. They gutted the building and sold the alarm system on eBay. In 1999, the new building opened up. The system was a Simplex 4100. They had about 75 4099-9003 pulls with IDNET. They had about 300 simplex 4903-9236s and 200 4904-9137 strobes and 500 4098 smokes.
So then the 34T and 7002T both have the same Honeywell serial number? I would have expected as much, seeing as the 34T is just a strobeless version of the 7002T so I never got why they had different names in the first place.
Anyway, post more people!
West Bridgewater High School:
Main horns are the Edwards 792-7A horn/strobes
The auditorium has a Simplex 2903+2901-9517
The media center has a Gentex GMS
The health room has a Edwards Adaptahorn on an 892-style strobe plate
Finally, the video lab has a Federal 450 on an AV34 strobe plate
Because if Iβm installing a fire alarm system in a new building, I need a strobe in an area, I ask for a 34T, and only a horn gets put there, Iβm screwed. If you give them the same name, youβre just asking for confusion. See: Wii U
So the 34T is SC806A1038 and the 7002T is SC807A1029. What are the 34-24, 34-24+WS-24, 7001-24 and the 7002-24 then? If Honeywell even relabeled those?
Main horns are the Cerberus Pyrotronics U-HNH horns
Federal 450 on an AV32 strobe plate in the Instructional Media Center
Edwards 792-7A horn/strobe in the Trades and Technology classroom
Wheelock 34-24+WS-24 in the chorus room
Gentex SHG in the wrestling room
