Name That Fire Alarm! (2.0)

Yeah, I remember that video and was pretty sure it was something like that.

Is the third unit a Mirtone 8000 system? That modular board is pretty distinctive.

To complete the trifecta, the first panel looks like an FCI SBP.

stay jolly!

The first one is an Edwards Integrity and the second one is a Simplex TrueAlert.

Not just a TrueAlert, but rather a TrueAlertES. 49VO/49AV series if I’m not mistaken…they don’t catalog the ES series by numbers so it would be hard to tell. I have seen many TrueAlert ES devices before in my area, especially the newer renovated parts of the airports have them.

Well I’m still right even if it isn’t the full name because I got the main part of it right.

Plus, they’re higher pitched, I think 520 hz im not sure. There arent many ESes near me, but the Panera that’s going to be built in my area might have them.

Yes it was higher pitched to supersede the 520hz requirement.

FBSB-YA3201. Essentially a chinese version of the call point.

It looks like it can also be part of a suppression system…I think…

The connector at the bottom of it looks like it would hook up to a hose.

I think it’s just on an explosion proof backbox.

Could it also be for an outdoor application? Although the explosion proofing does seem to make sense…or does it make DOLLARS.
Ahh puns.

Boooo! Hissssss! Jeeeer!

throws rotten over-ripened tomatoes

Let’s see, my guess would have to be either a Viking PAR-3 or a Notifier RP-1001/1002. I can’t think of any other brands that have re-labelled this panel.

From Stevenson High School, name that fire alarm!

EDIT: Sorry for grainy photo
