Name That Fire Alarm! (2.0)

Yes and no…

Yes, it’s a Wheelock ZNS-24MCC-FR, but it’s technically a Siemens ZH-MC-CR.

Technically, it’s a Seimens rebrand.

How was I supposed to know that when the picture was taken from a potato?

The lighting was really bad plus the usage of an iPhone 5 camera. If I was near brighter light it would look way better.

It’s hard to tell, but you can see that there has been a silver “Siemens” label applied where the Wheelock logo should be. If this were a non-rebranded ZNS, that area would be red rather than silver.

I thought the Wheelock had a white sticker on the base?

I believe the Wheelock logo is simply molded into the plastic on these devices. Wheelock uses white labels for MB series bells and some ET series speakers, but I haven’t seen them apply it to any other devices any time recently.

From my personal collection, name that fire alarm!

Amseco FS1-1+SL-02. And I actually have U8oL0 to thank for this because I remember about a year or so ago I was looking for rare fire alarm pictures and I stumbled across this horn on his website and thought it looked so neat so I tried to research it but couldn’t find anything about it online but remember thinking how nice it looked.

Since it is so rare, I’m gonna assume that he sold it or traded it to you.

Huh… the horn behind it looks kinda like a 2901-9833, doesn’t it?

I traded it to Andrew.

You were U8oL0? I could have sworn he was a member on here under a different name…

No, I think that Samson had one in his collection which he then traded to Andrew…U8oL0 is who’s website you found the picture on, not who owned that device.

I am Samson, the one who traded the device to Andrew.

U8oL0 is jjinc24, a retired staff member from this forum site. He owns and operates the website you got the photo from.

Oh. OK. I didn’t know that there were two forum members that both had the horn at different times. Nevermind.

From a YouTube video I found, name this fire alarm!

Looks like something you would see outside an elevator…hmm time to hit up the google!

No. It is a fire alarm pull station. I posted this because I want to identify it!

I’m going to take a wild guess on that’s why he said “time to hit up google”…

Also, I’m assuming these pull stations are extremely rare.
