Name That Fire Alarm! (2.0)

must be a older model because the speaker is usually flat and kind of rounded.

I have one of those, but I forget the model number, and I’m at work now. But it is a general signaling device and not intended for fire alarm use. ITs in some series called millenium something or other…

Sorry for off topic, but I have to ask:Whats your Job?

I work at a sprinkler company and try to land jobs for the company. Right now I’m laying out a sprinkler system design in a high rise that’s right down the street from us. The architects keep changing their designs, so this is the second time I’ve drawn out designs for this thing twice now, and I’m sure I’l be doing it again soon…

It’s an EST Millennium military speaker strobe. There’s some on ebay.

I was having a blonde moment…

The one pictured must be some kind of beta model that they made in what I’m guessing is 1999-2000. They first released the Genesis series in 2000.

here is mine:
give me the models of ALL the alarms or i will make fun with the topic :x
Removed by admin. Once again learn to resize your images.

for the second you won’t need to guess the model but is is a “Brain Breaker”

https://forums.thefirepanel.com/t/how-to-resize-images/1335/1]IT IS SO SIMPLE TO RESIZE IMAGES!

System sensor spectra alert advance P2R or P2R You can’t tell if they are 4 wire or 2 wire just from looking at the front. It could also be a chime strobe the CHSR.

It takes an old guy.

You can see it reasonably sized by right clicking and selecting “view image in new tab” or the like. It’s more the idea of the image screwing up the entire page, though.

Now, for the image: the alarm at the center-top is a Gentex smoke and horn/strobe combination. It’s used in hotel rooms and other residential areas, like a regular smoke detector would be. It just has a strobe, that’s all.

FIREALARMS4EVER, WHY THE H*LL DID YOU QUOTE THAT IMAGE!!!

Thanks Retired STR-SG!!!

No problem. Nothing to it.

BTW, an admin can save the attached image, resize it, then edit the message to replace the too large image with a properly sized one.

I loved the “it takes an old guy” comment. Damn kids! lol

Ah ah ah, it’s not a Gentex H/S, but an Edwards. Note the difference in strobe size:

Gentex:

Edwards (Integrity Style Strobe):

You were talking about the wrong detector. This one was in the center of the image:
