So I have wanted a system that I am now working on, I recently got an Edwards 882-2B and in the past a faraday evacuate strobe, I need help with the wiring and if you can, a diagram because I once tried wiring a strobe to a pull and nothing worked and the pull and strobe were glitching basically, the light was skipping or dimming the time the strobe was supposed to flash, was gonna use a DSC security siren with the evac strobe or a Wheelock 34-24 horn but I just settled with the 882 and strobe. Keep in mind that most security sirens are 12VDC while most fire alarm signals are 24VDC, which would thus result in the siren being damaged if you powered it with the same voltage as fire alarm signals (24VDC). As for the wiring, just going by the fact that you have three wires connected to that pull station instead of only two tells me something’s wrong: not sure what, but something.

That pull station has an LED. Is it addressable? If so, it probably won’t be usable for this.

I don’t believe it is: I have one & the LED is simply wired through the same switch as whatever’s hooked to the pull station, so that it’ll turn on when the station is activated (though this is all only because it’s a knockoff BG-12: actual BG-12s only have LEDs if they’re addressable).

It’s sort of both: it’s a knockoff BG-12 likely made by a company in China (though like with most knockoffs it’s unknown who the original manufacturer is exactly).

Alright, update, I am finally getting more materials for the system that will work without a panel, I have now created a diagram with an example like if for example some one drew the wiring where it gone, I don’t want any speaker wire business because I tried tricks with that and it never worked, and here’s the diagram with an EXAMPLE just so you know
