The tone has not changed. That device also looks like it might be thicker than a P2RL-LF or a P2RLED.
There are no wireless speaker strobes, xenon or LED, since wires are needed for the audio. That’s what the HyperSpikes are for.
For the xenon L-Series, the wireless feature was achieved using the WAV series bases. As far as I know, these are not technically listed for use with the LED devices, but they probably work.
The Elevate datasheet mentions magnet AV testing at the top, but it doesn’t mention anything about addressable notification (besides what I assume to be a reference to the supervised control modules).
I got a brand new P2RLED couple days ago and I got to say it works great on 24 FWR I think it’s just a myth that it doesn’t run on FWR.
I believe others have also been able to make it run on FWR, but it does not appear to be officially listed for FWR use, so it would not be acceptable to do that in a real building.
