The oddest one I’ve seen is probably the USP (United Security Products, not the pistol) FHS-24. It’s a 7002 knockoff.

I almost had 2 a couple of years ago. I won them off eBay, but my money order got lost in the mail. :x
There’s also one with a vertical strobe whose lettering is set in the same font as the one on the MASS. (the non-squared font) There is one of these on eBay.
BTW this version is on my wanted list.
The Claremont, NH Walmart has those in the back, in the tv and toy sections.
They remind me of the pre-1985 Wheelocks.

Odd that you mention that. Only place I’ve ever seen one was at a Walmart…hanging from the ceiling on a conduit.

Here’s an old one - found it up in the attic of a church last week…

What the heck is that?! It looks like a giant air horn!

It’s basically a heat activated air horn. When the temperature gets to 175°F, the unit is activated and sounds the horn. It’s probably filled with freon of all things, at least the other ones I’ve seen list that as the ingredient.

Can you do a demonstration?
the older faraday 5505s are knockoffs too, well kinda
well yes it is but it’s a rebranded model molded thing of federal signal speaker fire alarm.
