Sauc3, Caleb, you actually should already have something that can power your alarms: 9V batteries, three of them together makes 27VDC (be careful as to how you hook everything up though).
Well. I had something to power my devices . It was some old fire alarm cable that came with some old devices I got from my middle school. But I threw the wire away. It was kinda stupid of me to throw it away because I could of made some jumpers for my spectralert classic
Yeah. Most other kinds of wire should work though.

Thanks I also have some emergancy lights and weather radios. I might also be getting a home smoke detector soon witch is a vintage one.
