People behind evac

I want this to be a topic dedicated to who voiced evac messages. I am wondering the most who did the simplex one.

I’m not too sure who did the simplex messages, I’ve always wondered that myself

Yeah, that’s one voice actor that many have wondered about for some time: ā€œSimplex Guyā€ (or more specifically ā€œOld Simplex Guyā€, since they have a new one nowdays). One enthusiast once said they got to meet him, but they didn’t disclose his identity for privacy reasons. Other voice actors I can add to the list (using the names I’ve assigned to them to be able to tell them apart) are:
Edwards/EST Guy: the male voice actor behind Edwards/EST’s 7 default male messages (which includes the one with ā€œPlease cease operationsā€ in the script)
Simplex Gal: the female counterpart of both Simplex Guys (including when it comes to the infamous default message)
Wheelock Guy: the voice behind all the messages on a typical Wheelock SAFEPATH SP40S (& a few others as well)
AMG-1 Guy: the guy responsible for at least some of the male messages on the Notifier AMG-1 (this is an example of one)
DVC Guy & DVC Gal: Notifier’s current male & female voice actors for the messages on the DVC
DMC-1 Guy: the man behind the DMC-1’s infamously stitched-together-sounding words

Do not use the attention

I’m not, I’m just trying to contribute to the conversation as I always do, jeez…

I think @Randomnicious’s message was a parody of Simplex Guy’s ā€œAttention! Attention! Attention!ā€ and ā€œDo not use the elevators.ā€ I’ve seen several other people parody that message online:

Oh, yeah: wasn’t sure if that’s why they said so though.

Good question! Always wondered that! Unfortunately, there not that famous.

It was Gateway Star, formerly known as South Texan Elevators & EAS (STXEEAS) who did that.

I could be wrong, but I recently noticed that the modern Siemens female voice sounds very similar to the voice in modern Otis elevators. I don’t know who she is (or if she is even just one person), but I really like her voice and the way she uses inflections.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mJM7moTTY92RXpfytZPeos4u5iQpXnlV/view?usp=sharing This is an example of the Siemens MXL Male voice actor using spliced scripts to form a custom message.

Did you do that just using the DMC-1’s standard vocabulary, & if so how?

I don’t have a DMC-1. So I used audio from an existing original clip of a message and edited the message script to simulate custom segments in the vocabulary. Basically editing is easier than getting past the extreme security on the DMC-1. As how I got the clip honestly I don’t remember now.

That AMG-1 Guy is also Responsible For VROM-101,103,105,107 & possibly 116. And the person that did VROM-113,102,104,106,108,117,118,109,119 is also a Notable voice actor. And notifier’s current male voice actor was in VROM-234,177 & 188. VROM-234 can be heard in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apspDH56nc8&list=PLc9S1Eo7QXUl1C8fqMV4TN1MVBsPqHO5J&index=25&pp=gAQBiAQB

Well I have no idea where you got some parts of that, as I’ve only managed to find a handful of videos with the DMC-1’s words in them, & a lot of the latter are not in them (including most of those in that message you put together).

I just said ā€œAMG-1 Guyā€ since I figured he did most if not all the male messages on the AMG-1 as a whole (&/or maybe because that’s supposedly the only message module he’s ever done voice acting for).

Oh, who? (if that’s what you mean by ā€œnotableā€ of course)

Wait really? Huh…(wonder why they apparently decided to hire him instead of the other guy)

I don’t necessarily know ā€˜who’ I just know they did the ones I listed. I however only Heard VROM-113,120,117 and that’s basically it.

Honestly they had multiple different guys as voice actors. Exactly who recorded any of the male messages is a complete mystery. Same with the Spanish message(VROM-166).

Oh, okay.

Yeah: shame if you ask me as I’d love to know just who to thank for them (not just Notifier’s either: all brands’ messages).

Yeah they keep the people very anonymous.

I laughed profusely watching those.
