That square Pyr-A-Larm is a different version of the Guardion FRU-1 I believe, I have never seen one like it before and I was tempted but I need to save money as I still haven’t been called back to work yet.
And I found out there IS a difference between the retail model and contractor model ES-7 Vigilante II’s. Dan/Federal3t22 got one and his was a retail model, his has an Edwards horn. Contractor models like mine have the normal Kobishi CLB-27 brass squealer. I have yet to see another contractor model on ebay but there are plenty of retail models to go around it seems.

Another one that I figured I’d also mention that was listed around the exact same time as the Norelcos, a Gateway Sears with a thermal sensor. But something I didn’t notice until I scrolled to the last photo, the thermal sensor is actually white! I’m not sure if it was painted, or if it was just made like that. Hi guys well as you know I won an Amway Smoke detector model number E-8315 from 1977. This is the Canadian model. Now this detector has had issues with me setting it off although the LED light flashes indicating there is power going to the unit and it has emitted several chirps although not yet a full beep. That is okay it will happen within time, I still love the look of it and it is the biggest detector alarm and number 6 in my collection so far. Tonight I put on this beauty and even though used. Im hoping for it. Someone backed out of it so currently I could get this but I have to wait 7 days to find out. Now if I win this is my birthday gift to myself. My birthday is on August 7th and I turn 47 on August 7th. Historically 7 is a lucky number so again there might be hope left. Wish me luck. If so Happy Birthday to me.
